At Lowee’s Group Tours, we understand the value of your travel investment and strongly recommend the purchase of the Lowee’s Group Tours Travel Protection Plan to safeguard and enhance your experience. Benefits begin once you pay for the plan and you will be provided with the Evidence of Benefits containing the full details of your plan with your travel documents. Although the purchase of travel protection is optional, should you decline participation in the plan you will be responsible for any penalties should you need to cancel your trip. How do I purchase travel protection?
It is easy. Include the cost of the travel protection with your payment to your group leader or simply call us at 717-657-9658 or 888-345-6933 to order your plan by phone.
What if I don’t want travel protection?
Of course we strongly recommend that you purchase the Lowee’s Group Tours Travel protection plan. The unforeseen can happen and we do not want ordinary mishaps to complicate or ruin your travel experience. If you decline to purchase the plan Lowee’s Group Tours cannot be responsible for cancellation penalties in the event you must cancel your trip.
What is a Pre-Existing Condition?
A Pre-Existing Condition is defined as “any Injury, Sickness or condition (including any condition from which death ensues) of You, or Your Traveling Companion, You or Your Traveling Companion's Family Member or Your Business Partner which within the sixty (60) day period prior to the Effective Date of Your Protection Plan: a) manifested itself, became acute or exhibited symptoms which would have caused one to seek diagnosis, care or treatment; b) required taking prescribed drugs or medicine, unless the condition for which the prescribed drug or medicine is taken remains controlled without any change in the required prescription; or c) required Medical Treatment or treatment was recommended by a Legally Qualified Physician. (Note, In California, part "a" is not applicable).
What is Pre-X Waiver?
You are eligible to waiver the Pre-Existing Medical Conditions exclusion if you purchase your plan within 10 days of your initial trip deposit, for the full cost of your trip and if you are medically able to travel at the time you purchase your plan and have not filed a trip cancellation claim due to a pre-existing condition within 180 days of the effective date of your plan.
What if I have to cancel because one of my children are sick?
You are eligible for trip cancellation benefits if you, your traveling companion, business partner or a family member becomes sick or injured preventing you from taking your trip.
How do I file a claim?
Filing a claim is simple. Just call our plan administrator, Travel Insured International at 1-800-243-3174. Be sure to tell them you have the Lowee’s Group Tours Travel Protection Plan and reference plan number T-2751.
What if I am hurt while traveling?
You should call our 24 - hour Travel Assistance Services at the number listed on your Evidence of Benefits. They will help you with any travel emergency. Their trained call center staff will put you in touch with local medical care and if necessary arrange for your evacuation home or closest medical facility capable of providing adequate care.
